Hi There, Dont know if anyone else is having the same issue as me... but im getting wierd network errors on my iphone when im on the 2dgrees network in tauranga...

e.g. Foursquare app complains that it cant connect to the internet tho i can get email, browse the web etc...

4square stopped working right about the time my phone connected to the new network. Ive rebooted the phone, checked the settings, my APN is set to "internet".

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

Are you still having this issue? or have you found the problem with the app?

Hows the positioning working on the new network? Its still terrible in auckland 2 years on when on 2degrees, and someone I know in hamilton complained that when the network went live they started to show as 10's of km's away from where they were in foursquare.

TBH, with the 2degrees sim in my phone and wifi off its a waste of time even trying to use 4square.

The wifi died in my 3G a while ago so its a bit off - i just do a name search mostly... pain in the but, but a couple of the guys in the office with iPhone 4's work with no issues on the new network
