hi, does anyone have experience opting out of Orcon genius?

i tried ringing technical support and waited for an hour but no one's picking up! terrible.

i tried following the instructions on the manual but no luck. waited an hour for the blue light but nothing came up. very frustrating.

i just want to send back this modem to Orcon and sign up with a better ISP. - is that easy enough to do?

Changing ISP is easy enough to do, but if you have entered into a term contract with Orcon you'll obviously have to be aware of the implications of cancelling it.

That said, Orcon have obligations too, and if they have failed to provide a working product/service and are unable to be reasonably contacted or can't fix the issue in a timely manner, the contact may be able to be cancelled.
