Is it possible to use my iPhone to be a tethering method? Anyone knows?

Works a treat. Turn Personal Hotspot on it will give a password that you can apply to the other device that wants to connect via wifi.

Which carrier are you with? It should be under Settings, then Personal Hotspot.

CBSYS, you've not set the apn for 2Degrees. It doesn't happen automatically (like I think it does on vodafone).

In Settings, general, network, mobile data network set mobile data APN to internet and internet tehtering apn to internet.

Then the personal hotspot option should appear.

it's working, i missed the internet tethering APN.

another question is that, is tethering using the same data with the data come with the monthly plan?
I mean it's not an extra extra or diffrent cost from it, right?

It uses the same data, there is no additional fees like the US carriers.

Tethering is I believe an ISP option.

Not having that, forces users to buy a second sim and plan, good for bottom line.

Having it adds value to a user, so in terms of customer satisfaction thats the best way to go.

If some US ISP's charge extra they are trying to garner revenue unfairly in my opinion. Do we charge extra for broadband if you have two or more PC's??

I think it has something to do with them offering unlimited data in a lot of cases.
