When I talked to "a real person" at 2degrees a week or so ago, they said broadband was coming to Dunedin very,very soon. Without me actually asking after it so they must be getting excited.
2Degrees were also advertising jobs for a new 2Degrees Dunedin store some months back, so it would be logical to assume that they will probably coincide a launch of new towers, with the launch of a new store.
Has anyone in Dunedin noticed any suspiciously blue store fronts going up anywhere? Maybe they are going to co-locate into the new DSE "Large format" store that DSE were advertising jobs for a few days ago.

I'm a little puzzled as to why 2D seem to be focusing more on Invercargill before Dunedin. Maybe it's just a question of the logistics being trickier in the hills of Dunedin?
