Hi, multi question time :)

There was a topic in the past on the Genius phone handset displaying the wrong time.  My handset is fine but I set it manually.  Today I was looking through the router VOIP log to see what calls we had missed and noticed that the time stamp on the calls was all wrong.

This is the time screen on the router, which says 14:41 on 16 Nov (3 days ago) when you can see on the taskbar that it's actually  8.16am.

Router Time setting

How do I get this time correct?

Second question:

Since we got the Genius we have to enter our voicemail PIN in twice.  We dial 789 to check messages, it asks for the PIN, we enter it (with or without # at the end, makes no difference), then it says that the voicemail mailbox number is wrong, and the voicemail pin number is wrong.  Re-enter your pin, which we do, exactly the same as before, and that time it works.  We are putting up with it but though I'd ask if there's a fix.

Cheers

Meant to add that the timeserver settings are set to NTP1 and NTP2 orcon.net.nz too and I have not selected the box to manage my time settings either.

Cheers

Changed the timezone from "NZ" to "Auckland/Wellington" - that fixed it.

Voicemail still to be solved :)

Hi there,

Glad to hear your time setting issue has been solved. The voicemail problem on the other hand sounds slightly unusual, I haven't heard of that happening before. Your best bet there would be to give the guys a call on 0800 13 14 15 so our Tier 2 team can take a look.

Sorry for the trouble!

Cheers,

Cam
