So Orcon had an outage for their LLU customers on saturday , they said on their website it's only 15 minutes, but mine lasted almost 1 hour.
And I rebooted my modem every 10 minutes or so. So i couldnt have missed it.

And ever since it's back up, the meter has been stuck to before they had an LLU outage.

@orcon , can you fix this please ? And will i get a compensation ?

This is effecting my usage meter too, and a few others I know.
From my experience, as this has happened once before with Orcon in July/August, the duration for which the usage meter is inactive will not count towards you usage at all. Those days are marked as blanks as if you hadn't used any of your bandwidth whatsoever.

Yeah that can happen to ISPs when radius is not told that a user is disconnected, meaning you have two active sessions in their system, one where traffic is being accounted and one where it's not.

Not your fault at all, up to the ISP to sort that one out :)

Hi Mike,

I believe you also tweeted about this issue - as I said please give the team a call on 0800 13 14 15 if you are experiencing issues with the usage meter. If your physical service is currently down ask them about compensation as well - they should be able to sort you out.

Cheers,

Cam

That is possible with RADIUS but was not the case in this instance.
We have identified the issue and you should see usage recorded correctly again, sorry for any issues this has caused.
