Hey any one know anything about the cell towers that where proposed to go up in this area i know they had a big war about where it was being placed after they settled it never heard anything more. i wana use my 2degrees phone with out being asked to join the circus lol
The community was dead set against it so I dont think it ever happened - they wanted to put it behind the BP station, voda and 2degrees reception around there is shocking at the best of times :/
yeah ikr it was funny i know a few people that lived close by and they were going to move if it was placed there. but they settled on it going to the golf club as the money from the tower was going to support the club instead of the greedy bp owner haha there was plains on one going up plymouth road too... i really wana use my 2d phone i got given free lol its an old one but beats the telecom cdma i have atm, idk maybe some one will know i googled it b4 i started the topic and the latest link i found was from november :|
There may be something coming with the RBI as there would be towers planned for the area, telecom have their tower just behind oakura and unless your looking for it you wont find it, and we have our site at the end of Kaitake Rd, so you cant see or find that either - whatever vodafone does it will need to get past the kaitake community board, etc and keep people out there happy as they dont like eye sores lol
