Hey guys, I recently just upgraded to the Broadband 250gb plan by Slingshot, and I am experiencing slow speeds. I have an adsl2+ Modem.
Here are my results from Slingshot's speedtest:

Download Speed: 1457 kps (182.1 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 908 kps (113.5 KB/sec transfer rate)
Packet Loss: 0 %
Jitter: 24 ms
Latency: 120 ms
Test Server: nz-akl

Thanks

Unfortunately a speedtest provides nothing to indicate what your issue could be. You'll need to provide the following details.

What are your modem sync stats and attenuation? Do you have a master filters or plug in filters on every device in your home? Are you served from a cabinet or exchange and are you on a ULL or wholesale connection?

You can find out if you're on a cabinet or exchange by entering your details into the Chorus website http://chorus.co.nz/service-availability-tool

First of all, your problem is that your on Slingshot, I was with them a couple years ago, speed wouldn't go above 110KB/s, moved to Telecom shot up to 830KB/s

The problem isn't the ISP. We moved from Telecom to Slingshot last month and line speeds went from 11Mbps to 16Mbps.

are you running the speed tests from a device that is connected via wi-fi?   if so, re-run them from a wired connection and make sure its still an issue...
