OK Im really confused by all these urban pricing stuff.

Can someone shed some light how what pricing I should be getting (I have recently moved to slingshot homeline)?

My street has been cabinetised, Im currently getting broadband and phone line from a cabinet.

I was told by slingshot that they could not put me onto their better network (which I understand means their unbundled exchange)

I was paying 47 to telecom for homeline rental (excluding wiring maint)

on slingshot website address checker my pricing comes to 41 dollars for the homeline.

but I am currently getting charged 45 (because I am not on better network)

I read some threads on geekzone and someone suggested all Auckland homeline pricing should now be 42 across the board?

Someone knows  whats actaully going on?

Is the 45 the 41 plus wiring and maintenance? You can opt out of paying wiring and maintenance if you don't want what is covers.

not sure actually, I assume the price doesnt include wiring but I would like to add it in though.
Telecom charges me 47 PLUS wiring.

I just wanna know what is the correct price for an Auckland cabinetised street outside Slingshot's better network exluding wiring and maint.

I just joined Slingshot and had the same problem! The first guy I talked to said nope! If it's 45 its 45! So I talked to Customer Services and argued that on the website it told me it was 41. Then they said your right. We have to give it to you.

And for the Wiring and Maintenance, it says it is recommended, but you wouldn't need it. but if you want it, just tell Slingshot about the homeline charge first and then tell them you want to add on wiring and maintenance. For total price for homeline+wiring and maintenance should be about $45 then.
