Hi guys is anyone having issues with speed atm, everything appears to be working but my pings at the moment are sky high. I'm getting a 767ms ping just to Tauranga. Telecom has had some problems last night, and I'm just guessing that this is a carryover. I bought a cheap asain wireless modem from trademe it arrived yesterday. I set everything up, and after that everything was working great. I got the best internet performance I've had in a long time, only for this to happen. Do those asain modems go like that after a while?

No issue here in Wellington:

Ping statistics for 202.175.128.164:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 18ms, Maximum = 19ms, Average = 18ms

Revert back to the previous modem you had to test. Either that or you have a torrent program open consuming your upstream causing high pings.

The Telecom issue is completely unrelated to Slingshot
