I have 2 degrees and have been using it fine in Auckland since this part of the city is well covered in 3G Broadband zone. But I had to use GPRS networks in Tokoroa and tried find what the coverage is like. From the 2 degrees website, the map was not really accurate and so I ended up dropping by the store and asked the staff. He said they are using the vodafone network there so the coverage is the same as vodafone, but I need to purchase national data pack which allows nation-wide networks. So I did. (Mind you this was an important issue because I had to show some product to the client and it required internet connection on my phone.) So I went down there and no internet whatsoever! Luckily I could borrow someone else's vodafone sim, and it didn't end in disaster, but I'm still frustrated! It would have been much better if the website had more detailed information or the staff could have warned me on this issue.
