Hi all,

I'm moving back down to Wellington soon to move into my flat and we are considering the $90 Naked Broadband plan. My question is this: Do we have to sign up on any contract? In the fine print it states "NO CONTRACT OPTION ONLY AVAILABLE ON ‘UNLIMITED BROADBAND $60' OFFER" - implying that the answer to my question is yes.

I then looked at the phoneline + $60 Unlimited broadband deal but then saw that having a phoneline requires you to be on a 12 month contract.

Is there any way I can do this without getting into a 12 month contract? I've looked at having Hosting Direct as our ISP as they don't require more than a one month commitment however their new sign-up fees are far too high.

Cheers,
Tom

Hi

Yes other ISP's will say no contracts but have high sign-up costs this essentially covers any disconnection costs the ISP may incur if you cancel early.

Some ISP's offer lower contacts however our Naked Unlimited plan has a contract.

Thanks
Bevin

Thanks for the reply.

I have two follow-on questions:
1) With the naked Broadband, we don't need to have a phoneline with anyone right? (stupid question really as that's what naked broadband is all about, but just confirming)
and 2) What is the early disconnection fee on the $90/month Naked Broadband Unlimited plan?

Cheers,
Tom

Nope no phoneline needed but it comes with free $11 italk which is 500 minutes a month, this is VOIP.
Early disconnect is $149
