Just logged into my account tonight as I reached my cap,  and saw this:

Just wondering if everyone else is seeing the same thing or whether it's just because I went over my cap...

I don't know if this means its gone or not but I'd say that since its still showing as an option on the website you can assume its not gone.

I know that when I worked at Snap the plans and addons occasionally got updated when pricing or terms were changed and the old ones became retired - ie, you can stay on it but no one new can get it.

On the web site says pricing change for the Google and YouTube add-on should you remove and later re-add the addon it will be $5/month.

Ahh, a price rise. That makes sense. it's good that Snap let you stay on it at the current rate.

I wonder if the price has gone up because because people are downloading a lot more youtube data than they'd anticipated?

Would be great to hear Snaps input on this. Mine is the same

I have also noticed that my Naked Broadband baseplan, $55 for 5GB is retired.

The new baseplan is now $60 for 10GB

Hi all! Yup - we have updated the price of the Google & YouTube add-on for $2 to $5 because of the uptake of this.

We have removed the $20 rural surcharge and evened out our Naked DSL pricing to $60 for 10Gb!

Even at $5 a month the Youtube/Google addon is great value

Thanks for the update

Any chance we may see a price drop one of these days? I have been looking around and there are a few other Naked DSL plans which seem far more competitive to my current plan on Snap. (Basic 10G + additional 25GB)

Oh so its a price "update" rather than an increase. I wonder if you could update it to make it lower than two dollars lol ;)
