Hi

I just ported my number from Vodafone. All works fine but DATA :(

I've got 2 APNs automatically. Created one manually and still don't have DATA.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong? :(

Can anyone suggest anything? I'm in AKL CBD.

Settings that I've put manually are:

APN: internet

and that's it :) Don't have option to configure HOME PAGE :)

What MIUI, What Phone? If it is vodafone, it should all work, so check your apn's againgt this thread:

I use miui on my u8800 and it is all fine out of the box except for mms.

@paulmilbank, I'm on Defy using MIUI version is 2.1.20 from miui.us

Yeah, I've seen both topics. Still no DATA :( I also made sure I disable all firewalls, DATA is enabled but does not work :(

Worked fine on Voda :(

UPDATE: I turned off and on Radio and DATA is working now.

What I have noticed about this forum is that people complain its the carriers fault when it is usually the handset...

@SteveON I've not said a thing that it was 2d's fault. Just was stating the fact that DATA was working on Voda and after number transfered - it was not.

I have no idea why turning off and on radio resolved the problem, while I rebooted my phone couple times with new SIM.

anyway, working good and I'm loving it on 2d!
