Does anyone else have this issue?

I logged on to check my My Account, none of my services are listed under My services. All are disappeared. I cant even check my broadband usage.

Are there any known issues?

I cannot talk to anyone on the customer services now *sigh*

Cheers

Everything working fine for me.

It seems to happen on occasion, give it until the morning to see if it fixes itself, then try giving them a call again.

If you are coming from an IP Address which is not a NZ Address then you will be able to login but won't be able to see any services listed.

Check your address with www.whatismyip.com and if you are sure its a NZ Address (i.e. you are not going thru a Overseas proxy or whatever) contact Orcon.

Yes, I am checking from Aus.

I don't see the point why Orcon have to block my account details if I am checking my account from overseas. Isn't that the point of having registered online to view the account details and usage, wherever I am , in this internet age?

Contact Orcon and have them move you into the Business OU. Basically they don't expect residential customers to look at their account online from overseas. Not sure why, the worst that can happen is some nefarious individual pays your bill for you.

Thank you for the suggestion.  I so want someone to pay my bill :) , but I guess it wont just end there.

Hope the customer service rep understands what I want and wont be hard to change from residential to Biz OU.

Hey guys - what has been said is correct, we don't allow residential accounts to be accessed overseas for security purposes.

If required we can temporarily switch you over to a business account but this does change your billing cycle so we can only do this at certain points in the month. As our residential billing cycle has rolled, we won't be able to do this just yet.

Thank you for the prompt reply and details :)

As I will be travelling for next 3 to 6months overseas, I would like to have this change done on my account.

I only have mobile phone access at the moment here in Aus, I wouldnt be able to do this over the phone thru customer service. Is it something you could help me with, If I send my details over to you?

Thanks again.

Cheers

I'd be happy to sort that for you. Flick me a PM with your account details and I'll set a reminder for myself to change your account over as soon as the access is opened up.
