Hi all,
I had my newly acquired 8150 in my pocket while walking in the rain. My pocket didn't get wet and neither did the phone, but when i took it out of my pocket and unlocked the phone, I noticed there was a small amount of fog in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. Then almost immediately the screen went blank. How the fog got there I have no idea! I quickly took the cover off and there was a small drop of water on the battery itself. I have no idea how it got there either!! I then put it straight into the hot water cupboard and has been there for almost a week, as has been the status quo when all my other mobiles over the years have gotten wet and have worked fine after a few days of drying. This phone however, still turns on and it beeps that i have a notificationt, but i can't see anything on the screen at all, rendering it unusable.
I've only had it for 2 weeks into a 24 month plan and was wondering if this would come under a warranty claim? Or am I buggered and back to using the good ol' Nokia again?
