Hoping I could find some help here.

I have moved onto VDSL2 about 2 weeks or so ago.
and I am using my own vdsl2 modem, the only reason I am using my own modem it's because Fritz!Box 7340 VDSL Router doesn't work in bridge mode.
model: ZyXEL P-870H-51a v2

and after did some search around
I found Fritz!Box 7340 does uses TR-069

and from reading this I should be able to get this information from my ISP? please correct me if I am wrong.
I have called Snap a few times already, all the CSRs telling me is if I am not using Fritz!Box 7340 they couldn't give me any support, and I have to call my vdsl2 modem company to get support.
I called them to ask if they know anything about TR-069 no one seems to know.

Ok here is basically the info I need from Snap:-
ACS URL, ACS User Name and ACS Password

So you are trying to use the fritzbox in bridge mode? TBH I don't think its capable. Why not continue to just use the Zyxel which works great in bridge mode?

I am using ZyXEL atm just tring to set it up with Snap's TR-069 (ACS)

Out of curiosity why are you so insistant in wanting to use TR-069? There are somewhere in the vicinity of about 10 quick steps to get a Zyxel working in bridge mode.

I am running ZyXEL in full bridge mode atm with a Asus RT-N16, Sorry for not mention this earlier.

cus I have been with Snap's VDSL2 now for over 2 weeks or so
My line stats suggest I should get more downstream out of it.
my line length it's around 450m from road side cabnite

here are my line stats:-

it has been the same since I upgraded to VDSL2 and I heard vdsl2 configuration it's update weekly?
so my question is does Snap's Fritz!Box 7340 VDSL Router come preconfig with tr-069?
if it does maybe it has something to do with my vdsl2 profile or speed because I haven't set it up?

Your ISP needs to have their network ready for TR069 if no one knows what it is in the callcenter its highly possible SNAP don't use TR069

I am also about 400M from my exchange and I am getting 69Mbit sync down and 10Mbit up. I would suggest you have a cabling issue in your house (Master splitter installed)? I had a similar problem turned out the installer had put a staple through the cable!

If I were you I would forget about taking out the Zyxel, they are great modems, very fast and stable.

I would seriously doubt your issue has anything to do with the modem. Your line stats are really bad, 13Db is above what would normally allow installation in the first place.

I predict this will be a wiring issue or that the tech has connected you to a DSL port not a VDSL port :) (yes that ALSO happened to me and YES my stats showed an upload of 10Mbit but I could only upload at 800K.

Something is fundamentally wrong I believe.

I believe VDSL Line profiles are set on the ISAM/DLSAM by Chorus. Snap can request Chorus change your line profile to a different one via their service provider management tools.

TR069 is more to do with account/login/voip setup... provisioning stuff for the ISP.

The 8a profile you are on now allows for upto 50Mbit, agree with the poster above it's probably house wiring issue affecting the line rates you're currently able to achieve.

Your speed is abouty right for your stats.

Technically speaking you should have never actually been connected as you don't meet the 10.8dB attenuation limit, so you should be thankful you have VDSL2!

I assume you have a master VDSL2 filter installed, or if it's a naked connection have your modem wired directly to the demarc with no additional jackpoints wired in?

12dB downstream line attenuation seems high for 450m from the cabinet, triple check house phone wiring imo.

Ok thx guys for all the reply's

And yes I am on naked vdsl2 and yes it's the only jack for that line, also I think worth mention is that this jack point it's right at where all the DSL wiring coming in into the house, my phone line it's locate else where.
So I have 2 line, 1 for naked vdsl2 and 1 for phone line (land line number)
Basically the wiring from outside white wiring box to this jack point only few CM long.

I have just removed the master filter was in the wiring box outside of my house, I used to have land line and broadband on the same line so I had a master filter installed back then.

and here are the before and after stats compare:-

So after all that my wiring to road side cabinet might just be crap.
My house it's fairly old so this wouldn't surprise me tbh

btw as far as I know I am already on a new pair of copper because this line was damage in Christchurch earthquake.
I had no dial tone and broadband speed droped to half, after Chorus tech moving me onto other pair it's all fixed, back at the time I had land line and broadband (ADSL2+) on the same line.

If this was me, I'd call my ISP and ask them to send a tech. Worst case it costs you $200 and you have investigated every option, best case you get a bump in speed. At the end of the day, you are spending x amount on your internet connection every month, and any gain you get as a result of someone finding something which can be fixed is additional speed you get forever.. IE Decent investment. If it's a line fault, likely no charge + problem solved.

they did a line test and distance test for me after I went on their ADSL2+
