There appears to be technical issue with Panasonic TVs and recorders - sound but no picture. This problem is only on CTV channel 40.

I rang Harvey Norman; they tuned in their Panasonic and the same problem so it's not just me! They tried tuning in a Samsung though and it worked fine, as does my Magic TV PVR and Veon TV.

The Harvey Norman guy said he would get in touch with Panasonic and ring me back.

I have sound but no picture on my 46V20 Panasonic.
I'm surprisingly okay with this as I have MySky / no desire to watch CTV...

Well it looks like Dunedin TV and CUE are also now available on DTT.

Great news for regional TV in NZ.

Awesome, I'll probably watch it from time to time now. Nice to have some DW-TV here

If TIVO have these regional services in their channel list, you box should update automatically - Maybe Dan can confirm this?

CTV is on the Kordia mux. I just had to 'tick' it in the channel list. No EPG (yet) though.

How strange. My tivo has video and sound. but my Panasonic tv only has sound. No video signal yet it picks up the other digital channels.

According to some official Panasonic dealers, the problem is not with Panasonic but the broadcast signal which should be sorted out within the next day or so. Someone also reported a Samsung doing the same thing on the CTV facebook site.

It would have been nice if they had tested the setup a few days before officially going live.  This might have saved them frustration with all the calls they will now be fielding from disgruntled viewers.

I have a Panasonic tv sound no picture.  I also have a magic TV 3600td which receives both sound and picture just fine but alas doesn't allow me to recording anything from their EPG (the error being Unable to book program at this time code 2).

So it would seem they certainly do have their problems at present, lets hope they sort them out soon!

My Panasonic DVD recorder DMR-EH57 picked up CTV without any intervention.
Both sound and video displays OK when I checked at around 9 pm.

I see on the Freeview website's channel list PDF that CTV is listed as being available on both UHF and Satellite... Must be a mistake surely!
