There is now a log file created, when you are having problems please post the last few lines from the log file to help me, help you.
Change log:
Version 2.0.0.0
- With version 2.0, I have dropped the GBPVR from the file name it is now called freeviewNZ-EPG.exe which better reflects the programs capabilites.
- Added support for additional epg files. -freeviewWebXML will download an EPG file that contains CTV8. A further option -xml "urlForEPG" can download a custom epg made at http://xmltv.co.nz, simply select the channels you wish to have an EPG for and replace "urlForEPG" with the url generated. Refer to the included batch files for details.
- Fixed a user error bug in the -task command. Now checks that the batch files exists.
Version 1.9.0.0
- Moved the log file to the My Documents Folder to preserve the log over multiple installs.
- The Mediaportal Tv Server SQL Server can now be queried for the EPG path.
Use the following command freeviewNZ-EPG-GBPVR.exe -mediaportalTVServer -SQL.
If you have changed the default SQL Server username and password use freeviewNZ-EPG-GBPVR.exe -mediaportalTVServer -SQL -username -password. - Fixed the -all function to now work for GB-PVR.
Version 1.8.0.1
- Update to be compatible with Mediaportal 1.0.1. Needed to update to be compatible with the new version of ICSharpCode.SharpZipLib.dll.
Version 1.8.0.0
- If the directory the EPG is being downloaded to doesn't exist it is now created. This should solve most download issues during first setup.
- If the directory the EPG is being downloaded to doesn't have xmltv.dtd it will be downloaded for you. This should solve most of the other problems with mapping channels.
- I have now added basic error logging this is always turned on, it will write to a file called "logfile.log" and will be in the same folder as the .exe
- Fixed date detection of the time the EPG was last downloaded.
- Added some randomisation to the time the schedule task is setup as -task. By default it will run at 9am but this may cause overloading of the website. So if you DON'T change it to another time yourself it will be setup to run between 9am and 9:30am
- Improved error messages to aid debugging.
- New version check only occurs on even days e.g. 2nd, 4th... to reduce traffic.
- Added new directory and batch files in the download to use with 64 bit versions of Windows. The files have been editied to point to the installation in the "Program Files (x86)" folder. Use these files to schedule the task on first install.
