re-run the tuning (via the set up menus).

Have you checked that the aerial is actually plugged into the tv and wall outlet?

Are you sure the aerial is correctly plugged into your TV set?

IS the outdoor UHF still pointing the correct direction?

It will if they've done something they shouldn't have during the install, like broken a cable or moved an antenna.

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

Was the ONT installed where the TV cable is located? did they knock it out?

It was installed the same day as the TV started having issues. I would immediately start with that as a lead.
Checking the path of fibre install and any works they did around it. Where they entered the house above/below may have caused something without realising.

everything is fine checked where cable runs to uhf antenna and its not anywhere where they installed fiber i have checked the antenna and its still in the same location it was not moved at all the cable has no cut and is not broken anywhere

solved it turned out when they unplugged the old modem they might have pulled or knocked the tv cable because i opened the part that plugs into the back of the tv the copper cable was almost broken in half so i repaired it and now its fine
