Last night, after running a splitter on my satellite cable, I could get SBS One and Two. Now I can't even get a signal on either decoder. Has SBS gone?

Not on either of my decoders it isn't. I can get epg data for it, but no pictures. Comes up no signal. All the other channels are fine.
I'm using 12648 v 12600.

the other device of the splitter (or the splitter itself) might be setting the polarity wrong.

Set both decoders to SBS and see what you get. SBS is on a different polarity to NZ channels, and if one of the decoders has your LNB tied up on an NZ channel you probably won't be able to see SBS with the other.

This may be buffered still from the last time it worked.

Any other device connected to Sky or normal freeview channels will hold the LNB in the Horizontal alignment so you will not be able to receive the Vertical where SBS lives. Some decoders hold the Horizontal even when they are in standby/off mode.
