My folks got one of these from The Warehouse and based on experiences me and my sister have with Transonic I honestly thought they had turned a corner and were better value for money.
Boy was I was wrong.
The issues with this item is that it cannot hold aspect ratio, it blacks out frequently for about a second or so when watching through component (since the included RCA cable is connected to the DVD recorder) and it emitted a hum through the TV's speakers, which has been reported on other sites.
Has anyone had issues with other Transonic items and if so, what did you do about it?
