Well, it didn't come back up and I'm hoping it's being worked on or else there'll be a lot of unhappy viewers down here.

A lot of phone traffic has been going TVNZ's way from Invercargill and from what I've read they're giving a number to some tech guy's cell phone which isn't being answered.

It's pretty unexceptable having a service like this down this long. I wish we haddn't drawn the short straw and got JDA rather than Kordia

It sucks missing out on the other channels

We had an issue with the TVNZ Channels here in South Canterbury from the new Cave Hill Transmitter - issues had been happening for a few weeks then the TVNZ channels were un-watchable.

We were flooded with calls from our customers who we had done HD installs for and it took a lot of calls from us and other installers here to get action. In the end they had to send a replacement receiver that picks up the TVNZ mux off Sugarloaf and swap it out. As soon as they did that all issues were fixed.

Sounds very familiar to what you guys are experiencing.

Freeview customer support was hopeless - we had customers ringing to complain only to be told there was no issue (though TVNZ channels were un-watchable) and some customer service reps didn't even know Cave Hill was connected to South Canterbury....

JDA were great when I finally got to the right people to talk too.

Still getting complaints from customers though about the remaining channels that aren't being broadcast on the new transmission areas yet...
