foamfollower: Regarding the quality of the reel footage currently on Choice TV, on their Facebook page today they say:
"The loop reel is a bit fuzzy yes. That's playing out of TVNZ and they are doing their best to sort it. We take over tonight so things will improve."

So is Choice TV in bed with TVNZ?? Still think they should have had this all sorted before going to air....very strange

Possibly just hiring their facilities. That would make sense, rather than buying your own.

I think it's just the quality of the promo video.

By now you would think these problems would be fixed now, with more less than 40 hours to launch on air.

Looks to be a cross between grainy and out-of-focus. Could be just the loop they're playing plus a few teething problems. Still, I'm prepared to give them a fair shot to sort themselves out.

It has improved greatly now. The Choice logo now has sharpness. The logo postiton seems to have moved in too so I think it may have been zoomed in before.

I am much more happy now. This is what I expected from the start.

Too sad I can't watch the launch, I think I will TiVo it!

You think?? I see no improvement at all. The
quality is crap. I find this rather odd, this would be like opening a high
profile department store but you open the doors with the place only half
finished completely disorganised and a complete mess....To be honest this is not
a good start for Choice TV
