Just to confirm that no Netflix App has been launched on the Dish TV range of boxes, I am unsure the legitimate details Netflix passed on about the SatBox S8200 and our management team are contacting Netflix about how the live support mentioned our range of boxes when we have not confirmed or been alerted by this.

I replicated the conversation with a Netflix Agent and they passed me a link to a Dish USA brand of receivers that only work with the USA Netflix accounts so that says a lot. However we will always let you know when new services arrive on the aerialBox and satBox range of devices.

Interesting, I thought this might be a little too good to be true. When I asked the agent I explicitly said I was talking about DishTV New Zealand. I guess they didn't quite get that.

The Maori TV app will soon be available on the S8200 app portal, you should see it later today / overnight. No reboot or update needed.

Hi...new S8200 beginning this year.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

some strange happenings noticed.

 

 

 

- TVNZ channel 1 disappeared and took a re scan to recover it

 

 

 

- Scheduled list library drops scheduled programs

 

 

 

- when a series ends the scheduler continues to search ad infinitum until forced to stop

 

 

 

- non demanded programmes turn up in the library apparently as a result of pausing a live programme which then records the channel including programmes following the paused item

 

 

 

- 2 items in the library cant be deleted...whilst the deletion process says OK ...items deleted...they remain and when clicked show "no audio or video files"

 

 

 

SHMBO.......demanding the sky box be returned............help!

Having just up graded from a S7090 satbox to the S8200 I find that when I pause live TV then push play and I'm in the chasing mode, I can rewind and fast forward but cannot skip fwd or reverse as I use to with the S7090.

 

If I get an hour or so behind I can only fast forward to get to the end or back to the start other than stopping the "paused Live TV", saving then view in library. The jump to function doesn't seem to function from the 'Blue button' either.

 

I can only skip fwd and reverse when I am viewing a recording from the library.

Noticed considerable update came through last night. I'm still having issues with sound not playing after I have forwarded through the ads when playing recorded live tv when I have paused it and I come back to the tv. Have resorted to fwding at 1.5 speed to keep sound working when I resume normal play speed.

Hey I've just had a customer advise me they couldn't fast forward after the upgrade by holding the fast forward button down. 

 

Not sure if its related but after the update holding the chapter next/previous button performs the faster time skip.
