Timmytrd: Yeah I agree Jimmy, you would also think that the latest firmware would be on the website.
I thought it was older but thought why not give it ago, I was surprised it worked most devices know its an older version and won't let you install it.
Im happy it did I haven't got any other issues so far, another issue I did have is that programs in the library once I played them they started playing 2min ahead of the start time, so instead of starting at 0 and playing from there it, would start at 2 min and play from there.
Which is annoying depending on the program if they start on time or not.
I'll post more if I discover anything, I have turned auto update off for now so I don't get the Nov one,

Timmytrd: Hi Josh, looks like the 1.1 E update NOV7? Any changes to this?
If it is I'm staying on 1.18 my device seams pretty good so far, better than on 1.1 E anyway.

bernardgbailey: Hi Josh,
I purchased an AerialBox T2200 from Noel Leemings yesterday and was impressed with the setup and the clarity of the picture on my 2011 55" LED Samsung Smart TV.
It linked to the website and downloaded the latest version I think, and then started its installation process.
I went onto the OnDemand Portal apps and ran TV3 Now and Maori TV fine, but when I came to the TVNZ OnDemanmd app it asked me to login with my username and password.
I already have a username and password for this; however I could not get the remote text pad (0 -9 numbers) to do anything. The Arrows worked in going up and down the fields but nothing else.
What is the problem here?
Cheers
Bernard

bernardgbailey: Hi Josh,
I got a response from DishTv. really quite simple. All I had to do when I was at the user field was to press [OK] on the remote to bring up the keypad.
It really should be noted on the login screen, but we are only users, not those who design the products X$%@##!
Thanks for your assistance
Cheers
Bernard

Jimmy22: i swapped from mtv3600 to T2200 and haven't had any of those issues other than loss of wifi password after an update . it still has its quirks and lacks some nice 3600TD features but its only a software issue and they are slowly updating. The most annoying and disastrous feature lacking is the way it returns to the menu after you have watched a program , it allows you to easily delete a non watched program and does not mention the name of the program about to be deleted (there is no trash bin ) its because the menu does not hold the previously selected sort option and if a new program records it seeks that automatically , both highly frustrating but they are working on it . Don't hold your breath because 2 updates have passed by since it was first mentioned, just be aware. Edit : (nov27.11.15) make that three updates without a fix
mondograss: I've recently bought a T2200 to replace my old MagicTV box and so far not been very impressed with its reliability. It might just be that it immediately picked up the 1.1E update (just updated this morning to 1.1F so hoping that's better), but I had great trouble getting it to pick up TVNZ channels and then being very jerky etc when it finally did pick them up (though at times all channels would go bad). Often turning it off and back on would get it going properly, but then it would degrade again later on. I half wondered if it was doing some pre-allocation on the HDD that was causing the issue.
Both the TV, and the MagicTV have been perfect so it's not my aerial or cables that are at issue. I have the T2200 taking the aerial in, then aerial out from the T2200 to the Magic TV with both devices attached to the TV via HDMI. So if it's bad on the T2200 I can switch over to the MagicTV and it's perfectly fine. Really hoping it can be stabilised soon. Also had the odd issue with it losing my wi-fi password for no immediately apparent reason.
