What is the current version software?

I am currently on build Version DIS006_10_011C and S/W Version 01.1C as per Build Date Jan 29.

I currently still have the HDMI control as per option 8/10 under the Settings>Video settings page

Matt

Bought the S8200 sat freeview and hubby hates the remote.   Looking at the Logitech 350 and 650 remotes but need some help.

Guy in Noel Lemming says this remote will be compatible and so does the website.

Guy in Dick Smith says its not and people are returning them.  Anybody out there to confirm who is right.  Cheers Debra

It will work. Harmony remotes are great and you'll wonder what you ever did without one.

Hi guys. I am having some performance issues with my Satbox. It is often unresponsive in bringing up the EPG, it usually does this just after boot up or a recent change of channel. There is also a problem where after boot up we can't change the channel or bring up the guide for a good whole minute.  Is there anything I can do to help alleviate this?  Does anyone else experience these problems?

Typically it would be the technology behind the Freeview EPG, but it will also be the signal of the satellite too, its there is a low signal such as 50% or 60% the EPG may take time to load even though there is perfect reception, We are also unable to enable our own guide system however I can check with the team if there is an update to deliver it as it's currently on the T2200 and T2100

Well our satellite signal is usually more than 70% so no problem there.  Also none of this really addresses why we have such a hard time changing the channel, why the system is unresponsive for such long periods time.

Something new is coming to the S8200, any guesses to what it could be?

Updated software and a new remote so it actually responds and does what it advertises to do?

Last nite an app named Freeview Plus appeared out of nowhere in the form of a box that popped out from the left hand side of the screen.  It displays a green button but pushing the green button doesn't do anything.  At the same time two (or three?) lines of text that look like computer language appeared at the top of the screen. 'Exit' gets rid of it but then the Freeview Plus box reappears. 'Exit' gets rid of the Freeview Plus box but then the text reappears. I don't want either and its driving me crazy, any clues how to get back to a normal screen?

PS now have the Logitec 6500 universal remote, works brilliantly. If only Dish TV could make one like that...
