hairy1: I wouldn't imagine the EPL will be free to air.... They are going to have to get their money back that they just paid for the rights.

Only problem is that they will not be broadcasting in HD and even if they were I am not sure the football would be in HD as I think they are sourcing it from Setanta who don't broadcast in HD and have no real inclination to do so.
I know some of you will say it is better than nothing but going back from HD to SD in sports is really hard to do and football is even worse as there are a lot of wide shots which look really out of focus on the bigger TVs.
