a) They've already paid for it's use
b) Keeping up with the Jones's (Threes's)
c) A stop gap till they can think of some other use.

SKY TV managed the Coming Soon broadcast not TVNZ that feed was used only so it can be displayed on Channel 81 and Freeview Channel 7 at 01:00 Sunday morning
