Today all my freeview channels are gone. My TV type is SamSung, and I live in Auckland. So I do the following, and all my digital/analogue channels are back:

1. Press "Menu" button from the TV remote.
2. Select "Channel" section.
3. From the "Channel" section, select "Auto Store" by pressing the "Enter" button from the TV remote.
4. From the "Digital and Analogue" section, select "Start" by pressing the "Enter" button.
5. Wait for 5 minutes then all the channels are back.

For those using EPG Collector to get the guide on their PCs, you'll find the built in frequencies for Christchurch Sugarloaf no longer work. Don't know whether the makers of the app will update it but to fix yourself, update the following line in your EPG Collector.ini file to use the following frequency:

ScanningFrequency=578000,8,MHEG5

I am sure that EPG Collector will be updated in Due Course. Give them some time ;)

Oh man my wife is going to be pissed off. We've lost the TVNZ mux, and if I can't get this fixed before the Olympics it'll be a sad day in our house hold.

Also my neighbour has lost all channels, even with a rescan it won't pick any up.

PS thumbs down on the timing of things as well. Really they couldn't have waited another month.

If you have just lost the TVNZ mux (Ch 34), its likely to be a local source of interference.

RF modulator from a VCR or external device is the first idea. Any splitters in the system or rabbit ears in use?

The olympics won't be covered by TVNZ. Sky and Prime have the rights to pay broadcast and free to air broadcast respectively. Common Misconception.

Thanks. Moved my hdhomerun around, moved my whip antenna and it's picked up the other mux.

Sucks about the Olympics not being in HD on free to air TV.

Not so. Sky have done themselves proud with 8 x HD channels. Only thing they've done right in 22 years in my opinion.

How does this have anything to do with Prime being only in SD?
