hdinsider: I guess the Prime move is to allow space for a sports channel. I guess someone does care about DTH eh?

Oh - the broadcasters care about advertising revenue streams for sure.  No doubt about that.

There isn't any bandwidth left to lease on Optus d1, so not sure where that would come from.

The Freeview satellite platform is there to cover the 15% that can't receive terrestrial. It's never going to be as good.
