I've been running firmware 3.20 for a couple of weeks now. I have had the following issue occur about 4 or 5 times in those 2 weeks:

When turning on the Magic TV, the video and audio outputs fail. The unit sometimes comes up with a picture of the live broadcast that is frozen, but generally it comes up with just a black screen. I can change channels, and get the channel information bar come up to display the info but the actual picture remains black. I can bring up the MagicTV list of recorded programs, view it and cycle through to choose one. When that program starts to play, all there is is a black screen with no audio. FF scanning does not work, but if I use the 10 minute jump, I can advance through the program in 10 minute intervals. The playback timebar comes up, and I can see the playback indicator position advancing 10 minutes each time the skip button is pressed. Other than that, the screen remains black.

Turning the MagicTV off using the power button on the remote does not work, but turning the MagicTV off and then on at the power switch on the back resets everything.

I have just upgraded to 3.21 and will see if that has a similar issue.

(I will also post this message in the other MagicTV thread discussing Missing program names).

Did anyone else have trouble with the EIT information on the 15th and 16th? It kept giving old info on the TVNZ and Mediaworks muxes when pressing Info and several recordings recorded an extra hour or two. It appears to be resolved now.

I noticed on Saturday (15th) morning on my 3600 that the info banner was showing the wrong info a TV3 show, but the guide was correct. Panasonic PVR was correct at the same time. I didn't have time to investigate further but will have to check my recordings from Saturday night.
