C4 was up and so was TV3 temporarily, TV3 had a working epg and was apparently 1280x720 with normal programming (apparently) (was on a system without h264 codec)

Can anyone else confirm that the AKL tests are currently off air as I haven't had a signal since about 11am

A friend who has a flatmate that is a sky installer says that they have being getting loads of calls with issues since the tests started with RF outs being trashed so perhaps sky have asked nicely for it to be turned off till they can get to everyone to retune them?

The EPG is down, and C4 (Reserved 3KSD) keeps changing from 192kbps audio to 128kbps.
1KHD is back to being 1280x720 (with no content) @ 50fps.

I assume you mean the DVB EIT EPG is down. No surprise really as they aren't planning on prividing EIT data, just MHEG-5. Better to turn it off before people assume its going to remain running.

Suprised to see the LCN (logical Channel Number) details for the Kordia Mux as my scans aren't showing that data.

Just dropping the full PID table for the MUX for a poke around.

Itey, i'm using 'eye tv' for mac for those images.  It has no H.264 codec so doesn't display any picture...
In windows I use gb-pvr.
Im also using my hauppauge hvr-900 hybrid usb tv tuner.

I am in Albany and am getting consistently good signal strength and quality. I can see tha antenna but it is only just above a ridge between us and it.

I am using a Hauppauge HVR3000 on a dual core vista box. I am testing with Hauppauge's WinTV application.

I can't see any video but assume this is because I don't have H.264 support. Does anyone have any ideas about what I can use to view video with the HVR3000?

Thanks,
Greg

Fisher: Download gbpvr. Install that. Then install cyberlink power dvd 7 or coreavc.

ffdshow is based off the ffmpeg codebase, hence will have the same problems I'm seeing under Linux. At present the ffmpeg H.264 implementation doesn't cover the interlaced model they are using for the tests.

Hopefully we might start seeing some 720p tests soon which should work with ffmpeg/ffdshow
