Hi sylvester i too thought i had the problem solved, however you will notice that every 5-30mins TV3 will start glitching.  I thought i had solved it with catalyst 8.8, however after a couple of days i realised it still was working properly.

Hi Junglist,

I've not noticed anything so far but I have only watched 3 news since the 'fix'.  Are the glitches you are experiencing just temporary problems and afterwards everything automatically starts working again (i.e. video and audio get back in sync etc.) or do you end up with slow motion / picture breakup from then on?

I get the occasional glitch in a couple of frames when my PC decides to run a background backup or download an update but nothing apart from that.

I assume you have enough space on your timeshift drive and it is defragged?

Maybe there is some background process starting up that is adding that extra straw to the processors back?

Good luck with it and I'll report back if TV3 causes me any issues.

Sylvester
