May be the Smart vu+ A7070 currently $149 at Harvey Norman and Neel Leeming. If faulty at least I could return it.

Mi Box $150 from PBTech works well for Netflix, Disney, Prime (we get some voice delay), and from memory public TV streaming works. We've had one for a couple of years I think and it's been fairly reliable. Lately Netflix app has been misbehaving, I have to kill the app before it will start up again, given the box has been in standby for a day or two, but that's a new development and will probably be fixed at some point. It's getting regular updates.

have a Mi Box S and don't see any issues with the Netflix app. Might be time for a factory reset.
