Spyware:
The channels are played out from Virginia.
I would have thought that Sky would have taken back the control room now that they have purchased these channels from WBD?
Freeview site has an update
On Thursday 29 January, a few channels will be moving:
You can still watch those channels after 29 January, and of course still all for free. They'll just be on different channel numbers.
At the same time, Eden+1 and Sky Open+1 will be leaving us, and Three will be upgraded to HD.
Three is already in HD on Freeview's terrestrial and streaming services, and from 29 January it will also be in HD on Freeview's satellite TV service.
Interesting.
I haven't been watching Three on 12530, because it really needs a 90cm dish in Inver's.
The TVNZ HD feeds are fine on a 65cm with the LNB skew corrected.
The 1440x1080 feed of Three for some reason still breaks up a little (I'm assuming dish size for Koreasat6 down here). I don't like the bitrate constraints of it when things are moving around either compared to TVNZ.
The neighbours had their 65 replaced with a 90, there's is a Sky dish. So I'm guessing that's because receiving anything HD from Koreasat6 for them on Sky wasn't working out to well either.
I noticed 1.2M prime focus dishes seem to have slowly disappeared too. I was using one for Freeview for a couple of years but it was a rust bucket within 2 years of buying it.
Those 1M composite fibre-glass one's I think would be worth the buy for long term.
Gavin.

Have you ever got your UltraPlus X-9200HD out of the cupboard?
I never saw this post till today when I went to setup my weekly recordings n saw they turned off Three SD...
The lack of a 7day epg on Three is not helpful... anyone else still using a X-9200HD? With epg work around?
Haven't had a epg for Sky Open for along time but not a channel I watch alot but I guess when you can't see what's coming up why would you
All 4 channels are Sky only diff is FEC and 2 channels are AAC and H vs V signal n 2x are AC3 also H vs V

There's only 2 versions, not 4. Use the AAC audio version.
If you are seeing this on V pol, you have an error with your LNB settings.
Misaligned LNB.
Spark Max Fibre using Mikrotik CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+, CRS125-24G-1S, Unifi UAP, U6-Pro, UAP-AC-M-Pro, Apple TV 4K (2022), Apple TV 4K (2017), iPad Air 1st gen, iPad Air 4th gen, iPhone 13, SkyNZ3151 (the white box). If it doesn't move then it's data cabled.
My old non-HD LED-TV refuses to show channel three for more than a few seconds now since a couple of days. It just blacks out after the channel info times out.
Did do another channel setup san yesterday and figured that they are still having another non-hd channel for Three (high 1000s on my box). Hope they keep that around for a bit. Easy to navigate to in reverse, go back from 3, 2, 1, then 1031 or so on my Freeview setup.

Do I just need a satellite finder to adjust the dish? Or is it more settings on the STB?
LNB 10750 Frequency 12456MHz. LNB 22KHZ is off
UltraPlus X-9200HD - FW 2.12.18
Check the STB settings first. If the STB has some sort of signal strength meter you can use that for LNB physical alignment - not quite as easy as you may have to get someone to call out the number on the screen while you're up a ladder or something, but it is doable.
The other possibility is you have multiple STBs running through a splitter. If that's the case, H pol on any receiver overrides V pol (18v beats 14v), so the STB you are scanning on is asking for V but getting the H signal.
This is just the classic symptom of the LNBF being aligned for the old Optus sat and Koreasat 6 having substantually different Skew alignment meaning you end up with similar signal in both polaritys.
If you slowly turn your lnb anticlockwise until the ghost signal on Vertical goes away the push another blindscan things should improve.
Theres no vertical on Ksat 6 and all tps except freeview ones end in 0 12527 for example should be 12530
Anyone else noticed audio glitches on the new HD feed with AAC audio (i.e. the Freeview on with EPG)?
Audio volume seems noticeably lower than other Freeview channels, and period tick/click type noises.
@RunningMan no splitter before the input on STB... Only on the output... shouldn't make a difference?
I can disconnect the output line as I don't use it anymore
@Apsattv ok I'll give it a go next weekend... now my satalite is still set to Optus D1... do I need to change this to Ksat 6 if it's listed in the STB?
No the preset sat names in the receiver make no difference, just defaults that might have preloaded traansponder data, which goes out of date quickly.
You can rename the satellite if you want for clarity, just make sure the lnb l.o settings are correct and then run a blindscan.
Perhaps set on one of the ghost vertical signals then slowly turn lnb counter clockwise SLOWLY until the ghost has gone.
lnb conector pointing to around 5.45pm on the clockface should get you near enough
Almost forgot the ultraplus has a quirk where it will give signal quality from 67%?? then suddenly drop to a certain percent I really can't remember but i think was signal quality %67 no number show in between that and about %40???
