Looks like there are 2 separate ones on that same TP. One has AC3 audio, the other AAC.
Looks like Sky is now providing access to their HD streams - with their weird "anamorphic" version of 1080.
SID 1165 has the AAC Stream
[cplayer] (+) Video --vid=1 (h264 1440x1080 25.000fps)
[cplayer] Audio --aid=1 (aac_latm 2ch 48000Hz)
[cplayer] Audio --aid=2 (aac_latm 2ch 48000Hz)
[cplayer] Subs --sid=1 (dvb_subtitle)
The second SID 1009 has the AC3 audio
[cplayer] (+) Video --vid=1 (h264 1440x1080 25.000fps)
[cplayer] Audio --aid=1 (ac3 6ch 48000Hz)
[cplayer] Audio --aid=2 (aac_latm 2ch 48000Hz)
[cplayer] Subs --sid=1 (dvb_teletext)
The existing SID 1920 on their old transponder is still active at present with SD MPEG2 video.

It looks like the SID 1165 is the old Sky HD Feed that used to be encrypted.

As a matter of interest, with TV3 HD do you guys get channel guide info. I tried using NextPVR and can tune and it plays but no guide info.

No EPG - as it's a Sky channel all you get is now/next.

Sorry, asking about the HD TV3 version reported in the first post.

Yep, it's a Sky channel, they provide EPG using a different system, so all you get is now/next.
Interesting. Thanks.

I have not actually checked the new channel, but Sky do provide full EPG for most channels. It is in OpenTV format on different streams from the EIT EPG data which is only now/next.
There is some software that will capture the OpenTV EPG. TVHeadend can do it, and you can export the EPG from TVHeadend, but it is a manual process to do that. In 2018 I modified some old Linux software called tv_grab_dvb_plus so that it works with the current Sky OpenTV data, and I have been using that ever since for my Sky EPG in MythTV. You can download it from my web server here:
http://www.jsw.gen.nz/mythtv/tv_grab_dvb_plus-jsw.tgz
It does need to be compiled, but I have not had to do that again since 2018, so I doubt there will be library compatibility issues.
The batch file I use to run it against the Sky channels I record using MythTV is also available on my web server:
http://www.jsw.gen.nz/mythtv/sky_opentv_epg.sh
This is very specific to my setup, but can be modified for whatever you need.
For Windows, there is EPG Collector:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/epgcollector/
The other obvious alternative is to use the EPG from any other TV3 channel (such as DVB-T) and just copy it for use with the new TV3 HD channel.
Would someone be able to post an external link to a one minute fullmux recording on 125300? NextPVR supports OpenTV for SkyUK and I am hoping that the same information is there.

My mux capture script captures 2 minute files. I have one here:
http://www2.jsw.gen.nz/2025-12-19_12530.ts
(530618908 bytes)
When I modified tv_grab_dvb_plus, it was because it was originally programmed for Sky UK and did not work properly on Sky NZ. So you may find the same problem with NextPVR's OpenTV support. It is a long time since I modified tv_grab_dvb_plus, and much longer since it was originally written, so it may not actually be compatible with Sky UK these days either. I think I remember having to find the right Huffman decoding table for it, as the Sky UK one was different to the Sky NZ one.
There is always the option for NextPVR to import XMLTV files created by external programmes such as tv_grab_dvb_plus or EPGCollector.
Thanks combined with a mux I got from @rb99 on the NextPVR forum I think I have everything I need for testing.
I don't see any differences in the text with the default Huffman decoding. There is the odd leading [[\d+]] on the title but otherwise the data seemed complete. Do you recall something else I should look for?
NextPVR is multi-platform so EPG Collector only helps for Windows and the grabbers for Linux will have so issues in Docker so it is better to use the build-in solution. Three seems to be available from mjh though which seems to be the obvious alternative to requiring DVB-T (to someone living in Canada whio doesn't have OTA access.

Not sure if any others have noticed.
I've been experiencing digital Breakup / Pixelation on the New ThreeHD service. Also noticeable on Bravo +1 and Eden+1.
Have been in contact with Sky - which they confirm they are aware of the issue.
I see DTT is also effected on those same channels - Warner Bro's...
Will Wait and See !
Also affecting the Freeview SD versions of 3 & 3+1 on DVB-S, even though good transponder lock. Must be in the backhaul somewhere.
The channels are played out from Virginia.
