WinTV-HVR-2200 MC features

Dual Digital or Analogue TV

Nothing about being able to do one and the other at the same time either, but we know it works :-)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but does the HVR-2200 do both as the same time.

I want to be able to record Prime and watch TV3 at the same time, or visa versa.

Thanks Wallace

Yes it can do this as long as you have the right software. I know at one stage MCE wasn't working, it saw both tuners as dual DVB-T or analogue, not one of each(I;m not sure if this has been fixed). But for programs such as media portal, each tuner on the card is basically a hybrid Analogue/DVB-T. So one tuner can be analogue for prime while the other can be the digital DVB-T (freeview terrestial) and all from the one input cable. This is great for some people as it means not having to split the cable and lose signal strength, other countries aren't as pleased with the design as they get analogue cable TV and have no way to record both at the same time (they need two inputs).
