Currently this is the way to go as the SKY TV1 and TV2 feeds are better quality than the freeview equivalent as freeview has started up the regional broadcasting of TV1, so there's like 4 or 5 TV1 channels being broadcast right now, pretty much in the same bandwidth that was originally alloted to just one TV1.


The bandwidth for all TVNZ channels has been reduced to allow for the extra TV1 feeds, this means TV2 etc is crap too.
I've been using the Sky FTA TV1 & 2 feeds and they are much better than freeview, I check Freeview's feeds every so often & they are still macroblocking during programmes & Ads.

Sky have said that the HD feeds for 1 and 2 will be encrypted - the SD ones are of little interest once the HD ones are available IMO...
