power cycling being a frequent requirement to get it responding to the remote again.
oh, and it was forgetting that it was supposed to do s-video out very often making everything black and white till it decided to get its act together again. At a later stage I couldnt even get it to do svideo anymore and that was the final straw for a return on the freeview saga of craptastic hardware that shouldnt be sold.

yup ours used to turn on the dvd player when you pressed 1 and 0 sequentialy or change the volume when trying to change the chanel thankfully its now gone. it's been nearly two weeks since the swap and not one single lockup ahhh life is good
