Yes always money but the government is set to make good money when its sells freed up spectrum when analogue turned off.

By far the easiest option for you is to borrow someones Freeview decoder and simply plug it in. This way you will know that it will receive freeview before you have to hand over any cash.

farcus: hmmmmm . . . . Prime UHF is availabel in quite a few areas where FreeviewHD is not available.
Nelson, Timaru & Invercargill in the South Island for example.

Indeed. After a quick check, I see 20 sites that broadcase Prime and not Freeview. I also saw one with Freeview and no Prime.
