Cannot get it in Porirua, Wellington. Also their website is down.

VinLew: It shows up on channel scans on freeview|hd in Dunedin - receiving from Mt Cargill. Nothing in the EPG & no actual channel being broadcast though.

Can you see tvCentral in channel scans? It's another regional one and has been live for some time (I'm in the coverage area so I don't know whether you can usually see it in the list if you're not).

Hi, I am in Christchurch and using zinwell HD receiver.  From the auto scan, i can see the tv33 but from the channel list, it does not show up.  Does anyone encountered same problem?

Hmm, I can still watch it in Feilding, just the same as before the launch even (from Wharite/Kordia).

From my own experience, and what I see others posting, it's available in most places...just not in the guide.

I can certainly see it as i write this while sitting in Wellington.

Their website no longer has a suffix, and is just: http://www.tv33.co.nz/.

Maybe I should actually read the thread instead of just blindly accept what the Freeview site tells me then! :P

It's pretty boring especially if your mandarin is limited like mine. I'd much prefer if we could get Korea's Arirang channel on freeview as they have english speaking hosts presenting Korean culture and even televised korean speaking classes.

There websites design is a horror to use, and every time I try to contact them via email I get some different error e.g. Returned mail: Over quota

Ariang is available in CHCH on Voice TV (almost all the programming is from Ariang).
Not sure where you are though :-)

Sorry to trawl this thread up from the depths but I just received a TiVo Email Newsletter which states the following:

"Now there's even more to enjoy on free-to-air TV, with the introduction of TV33 to the TiVo EPG. Offering a great range of comedy, movies and reality shows that are aired in English and Chinese, the channel offers plenty of content 24/7 to keep you entertained and informed. Go to your TiVo EPG to check out the TV33 program guide today and see what's on offer for you"

Is there anyone aware whether this is available NZ wide? I'm on terrestrial freeview (TiVo) and have just completed a scan in Northern Suburbs of Wellington and it was not found.
