http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=293146117&permanent=0 was thinking of getting this, ends already on cable. i can just run it as is. not sure if its crimp ends or screw on ends i have asked. regardless of ends i can put my own on. (says compression ends i assume thats the same as crimp)
Is this cable ok? not sure of the differnce between dual and quad sheild im guessing quad is better
Thanks in advance
Hu? did i do that? 16Mb (EDO RAM), K6-II processor, 2Mb of onboard graphics. 32k dial up modem. 12 speed CD ROM. 5¼-inch floppy drive. 500Mb HDD.
Pre terminated cables can be very hard to push through holes....
Two options for you. Do it once, do it right... Or just get the screw on types, set it all up, get it working and replace the terminations later when you get access to the gear etc.
Couldnt figure out why the sat finder could not find any signal after about an hour of moving the dish around. finally got feed up and opend the LNB. about half a cup of aluminium corrsion fell out. grrrrrrr have ordered a new LNB from trade me.
for now i had enough cable to hook into a spare out put on the nabours sky dish. which is all go for me cool having more than 3 channnels more than i know what to do with
So i guess its just a matter of waiting for the new LNB to come then i can permintly mount the cable and seal up the holes i made.
WIll post back with final results
