lopeti1: Hi Gemini
Im in the process of trying my First DVD-R back up
I recorded Big Momma's house last night which was in HD on TV3
It's pretty much put the DVD-R in and hit copy on the remote for the recording you wish to convert, the Panasonic then prepopulates with the correct(optinum?) compression to fit on the DVD and its gonna take 213 minutes to convert and burn
You can change the compression to lower quality if needed

shomenno: I am not convinced by the cheapish looks of the brands like ultraplus and topfield.

freitasm: I now have one of these being sent here for some testing...
Quinny: I have a Panasonic DLNA tv. It has usb recording of the digital Freeview channels (not analogue tho). Looks like overseas you can use the epg to program these and do more than "record what I am watching now" but in NZ this seems crippled.
Kinda sad really.
