Hi there - yep, I can tune NHK World no problems. Actually, quite a good channel.

So why not Press TV I wonder???

allstarnz: I use a Dreambox DM7020. I also have a TBS DVB-S2 tuner, but that is only for D1.

STBs are generally much better at picking up signal than tuner cards. Would be interesting to know if you could get it on the TBS tuner...

I can get 12407, 12519, 12546 and 12644 reasonably well. After that things become significantly more dicey. 12706 is the weakest as I already said. 12734 is slightly stronger...

@blur: I wonder whether interference could be a factor. You never did say what the local oscillator frequencies for your LNBs are. Do you have a digital cordless phone around the house?

@allstarnz: Out of interest, what brand and LO frequency are your LNBs?

14dB is just about maxxing out, this is similar level to what I get on Sky channels.

The LNB for D2 is some Chinese brand I got from Stewarts electrical wholesalers.  The LO is 10750.

My 75cm dish has a dual LNB with a LO of 10750 for Freeview

And the D2 is offset with a single LNB with a LO of 10750.

Both LNB's are from Freeviewshop.co.nz
