openmedia: What equipment and software version are you running.
Newer Linux tools use a different HE-AAC decoder that appears to work. They've changed the stream on the freeview|HD version of C4 slightly and it breaks older builds of faad.

mm1352000: No, Mediaworks changed something. Monogram compatibility broke when C42 turned into C4, and now they've fixed it again. I wish we knew what they'd changed because if it was a "legal" stream then technically Monogram should have supported it (as should FAAD2 etc.)...

openmedia: I've just checked under an older MythTV 0.23 build and the audio is now working again on the DVB-T feed of C4.
