openmedia: It looks like they have tweaked the audio stream on the freeview|HD version of C4. I did some test recordings last night under MythTV and I get no audio. On my C650 Samsung TV there are no issues.
The format is still HE-AAC but the FAAD decoder is complaining about the format. I need to take a better look at this.

oh thanks for the info this suck they should have just keep the same audio my freeview box plays c4 fine its just my computer with the problem

perhaps the correct statement here would be "i hope the FAAD decoder fixes whatever bugs it has that are causing the audio to break"...
if freeview boxes work, 7MC machines work, etc etc, then you cant blame the broadcaster for an isolated audio issue...
