mm1352000: Hmm, was just going to say that the overlap would be due to there only being one tuner available, and the unit not being able to record two channels from the same mux/transponder. Might be wrong though. Is there a pre/post record time setting on the STBs? I know it isn't ideal, but that might be the best that you can do if the EPG is wrong. Mine is set to 3min/3min and I never miss recordings...

The thing is that it's only recording one channel, it just needs to write the stream to two separate files.  No reason it can't other than it doesn't :)

Sounds like the box is just not smart enough then. Smart boxes allow you to view and/or record multiple channels from the same multiplex/transponder with only one tuner...
