Bren46: Update, I've logged the following request with Sky TV regarding this issue regarding Prime TV and Maori TV via email. Sky's reference number is #120226-000172.

Wast of Time, Kordia is the company that handles Prime & Maori channels.

Its only a assumption that its being cause by SKY Igloo, as the problems started at the same time Igloo was implemented

Also have a Samsung LA26C450, T-TDT5DEUC-1012.1, Software 2010/04/13_001012 and experiencing pixelation on PrimeTV (706Mhz) off Sugarloaf, Chch tonight 26/2/2012. Particularly with fast moving images (Top Gear).
The other channels have no issues, and even on Prime the signal strength is 91, bit error 0.

A Bravia TV I also have doesn't seem to have any picture issues on PrimeTV, but the 'Pre Viterbi' error rate is jumping around quite a bit (compared to other channels), although the 'Post Viterbi' is 0.
Not sure if this means anything.
However occasionally the sound on the programmes on PrimeTV on the Bravia seem slightly out of tune as well
[but perhaps I've been to too much live music and the ears are failing :-)]

Perhaps I should see if there are any software upgrades available for the Samsung, but its getting a bit ridiculous for the average Joe to have to upgrade TV firmware just to get a good picture!

mgc54: No announcement of launch of SKY Igloo here in the Wairarapa this week? I thought Igloo was due to launch June/July 2012?
However we do have a new Freeview HD channel, I THINK it arrived this week. Appears as channel 12, CCTV 9 Chinese State TV.

I just contacted Samsung and talked to a Eng that I know, its a nation wide problem that affect some of there TV's and other brands from what I have found out, they have escalated it.

My bet its caused by Igloo.

As of 4:30pm Monday afternoon the problem seems to be fixed here in the Wairarapa. Prime and Maori are not pixelating/freezing anymore on the offending 32" Samsung TV. Fingers crossed.:)

Same here in Kapiti I think that some on at Samsung stirred it up a bit

as this sort of problem reflects badly on the brand and on Freeview.

All good here in Porirua. 42" Samsung Plasma has been fine on Prime and Maori TV viewing last night, no pixelation, screen lockups, or blank screen. DVB-T UHF Aerial pointing to Mt KauKau.
