Spyware:
haydenmarsh:
grolschie: Channel 800 "Test 6" has appeared (not sure when) on our Panasonic TV without us doing anything. Test pattern with the pong-like thing. Signal is from Sugarloaf.

Something like this?

No, as that's a 1080i pattern. Kordia and co still exist in a 576i world. Sommet exist in D1-CIF sub 1 Mbps world so I wouldn't want to see them have their own mux.

I know it's a 1080i test pattern. but it was an example of what grolschie said as a pong like test pattern.

It looks like this but with the grey square moving from side to side.

I'm picking it up in Lower Hutt on channel 29.. I'm guessing Fitzherbert?

Anyone else getting it from other Wellington transmittors? i'm guessing it might be on 28 or 30 from Kaukau and 29 on the other Greater Wellington towers, as per the existing odd/even scheme.....?

D'oh! didn't read the post that said channel 28 is active from Kaukau.. It ties it with the Auckland tests though, 28 is licensed to World TV off Kaukau, as is channel 29 on the other Greater Wellington sites (Fitzherbert, Ngarara etc..)

That's interesting. I wonder if Prime is being moved to this mux in order to support HD?
